The HAPP 45Pi provides a huge 4.5T lift capacity with a high 3.729m height to the safety bar, making it easier to lift tall vehicles with standard one piece columns.

The lift also uses direct drive cylinders (no chains) which reduces the number of moving parts. As the cylinder seals are on the bottom the seals are more resistant to moisture, this is not an issue typically but if you wash a car down or spray water on the lift, this is a better choice for you than our other hoists.

We are required to test to SWL (4.5T), some of our pictures show the hoist easily lifting 5.7 tonne and is still within Australian Standard deflection specification. Do no attempt this at home, you are only allowed to lift to SWL (4.5T).
All HAPP hoists are tested to Australian Standards.

The multi-colored images on our lift specifications are direct excerpts from engineers’ reports, proving the rigorous testing behind every lift.

We take quality seriously: if you don’t see this drawing on your product, it has not been tested to Australian Standards. Our catalogue displays this verification on every car lift we sell.

Important: Design registration with WH&S in states outside Queensland does not guarantee testing—it only registers a design. Trust HAPP for lifts professionally engineered and verified in Australia.

Warranty

  • Workshop Accessories: 1-year parts warranty
  • Hoists purchased after 1 July 2020: 5-year structural warranty (columns, arms & carriages) + 12-month parts warranty
  • Hoists purchased before 1 July 2020: 1-year structural warranty (columns, arms & carriages) + 12-month parts warranty
  • Motorcycle Lifts: 1-year structural and cylinder component warranty. Replacement parts supplied; customer arranges collection or replacement.

Conditions

  • Products must be installed in a permanent enclosed building. Contact us before installing a hoist outdoors. Regular maintenance must be carried out by a competent person in accordance with AS/NZS 1418.1-1.4.1. Products must be kept in a reasonably tidy condition.
